For a while now we’ve been receiving queries over whether our patties are suitable for air fryers and we are now happy to announce that they certainly are.
The evolution of the air fryer!
Would you be surprised to learn that the air fryer has been around since 2010? The original inventor Fred van der Weij came up with the concept of using a tiny amount of oil and circulating hot air around the product to be cooked. He later sold the patent to Phillips who developed the product, first in Europe then America and the rest of the world soon followed.
The air fryer has exploded in popularity recently, billed as a healthier alternative due to the very small amount of fat required to achieve the deep-fried taste – we’d agree. It’s also supposed to save a significant amount of energy, this can vary widely on what you are cooking and for how many though refer to your manufacturer’s instructions if in doubt.

Air Fryer from chilled
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C.
- Remove all packaging. Place patties in the basket of the air fryer in a single layer.
- Cook for 13 minutes.
Air Fryer from frozen
- Preheat air fryer to 160°C.
- Remove all packaging. Place patties in the basket of the air fryer in a single layer.
- Cook for 19 minutes.
Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving
